Um dos principais e mais lindos espaços de arte e cultura no Rio de Janeiro, é sem dúvida, o Museu da República, no Catete. Se o Museu é um sucesso de público, mais ainda são os Jardins do Palácio que se espalham por uma área de 12.000m2 e proporcionam aos inúmeros visitantes momentos de tranquilidade em meio à agitação do bairro. Quem por ali passa, tão acostumado está com as velhas árvores, o lago, as pontes e os bancos onde sentam crianças e idosos que nem se dá conta de que esse lugar já foi palco de inúmeros episódios da nossa história. Nobres e presidentes passearam pelas alamedas, viram esculturas de bronze, a gruta, chafariz. Tombado em 1938, o jardim já passou por reformas, mas guarda a beleza original criada por Paul Villon, discípulo do paisagista francês Glaziou,
responsável por diversos projetos na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, como o
Campo de Santana.
Intervenções Bradesco ArtRio vem propor aos visitantes do Palácio do Catete um novo olhar, mais atento, mais interessado sobre esse espaço que é comum a todos. Obras de diversos artistas irão dialogar com a natureza local, não só refletindo a própria diversidade, mas oferecendo uma possibilidade que traduz o pensamento artístico do nosso tempo. A arte sem paredes como suporte,sem limites, sem portas de entrada, ganhando jardins e parques, proporciona diferentes e incontáveis leituras. Interage com os que por ali passam, despertando a curiosidade levando, certamente, à reflexão sobre o papel das manifestações artísticas no
cotidiano de uma cidade frenética. A intenção é deslocar da rotina,
Surpreender, inverter o tempo real em favor do tempo da arte.
Quem observar a sobras espalhadas pelos jardins do Palácio do Catete vai incorporar essas imagens e o seu caminho estará, para sempre, modificado.que acontece fora das centralidades do mundo contemporâneo, na terceira margem, chega ao contrapiso colorido das canoas nordestinas.
E a gruta e os gramados e pedras, e as alamedas e os tamarindeiros …as raízes das árvores criarão asas….. estarão conversando sobre arte, sobre vida, sobre tempo e ritmo interno. Todos poderão participar dessa fruição e compreender que a arte tem também uma função social, mágica que reflete o ambiente e o pensamento artístico contemporâneo.

One of the main and most beautiful spaces of art and culture in Rio de Janeiro, is undoubtedly the Republic Museum, in Catete. If the Museum is a success, the Palace Gardens that are spread over a area of 12.000m2 and provide to the numerous visitors moments of tranquility amid the bustle of the neighborhood. Whoever passes by, so is accustomed to the old trees, the lake, the bridges and the benches where they sit children and elderly people who do not even realize that this place was the scene of countless episodes of our history. Nobles and presidents strolled through the alleys, saw bronze sculptures, the cave, fountain.
Preserved in 1938, the garden has already undergone renovations, but keeps the beauty original created by Paul Villon, disciple of the French landscape artist Glaziou, responsible for several projects in the city of Rio de Janeiro, as the Campo de Santana.
Interventions Bradesco ArtRio proposes the visitors a renewed look of the Catete Palace, more attentive, more interested about this space which is common to all. Works by various artists will dialogue with the local nature, not only reflecting its own diversity, but also offering a possibility that translates the artistic thinking of our time.
Art without walls as a support, without limits, without entrance doors, winning gardening parks, provides countless and uncountable readings.
Interact with those who pass by, arousing curiosity leading, reflection on the role of artistic everyday life of a frantic city. The intention is to move from the routine, surprise, reverse real time in favor of the time of art.
Anyone who watches the scattered around the Catete Palace Garden will incorporate these images and its path will be, forever, modified.
Which happens outside contemporary centralities, on the third bank, reaches the colorful subsoil of the northeastern canoes. And the grotto and the lawns and stones, and the malls and the tamarind trees …Tree roots will create wings ... .. will be talking about art, about life, about time and internal rhythm. Everyone can participate, of this fruition and to understand that art also has a social function, magic that reflects the environment and contemporary artistic thinking.
