FRESTAS POR ONDE MUROS ESCOAM é uma instalação composta de duas pirâmides de terra, 60 vergalhões de latão e tres cadeiras em madeira, que pertenceram à casa dos avós paternos da artista.

A instalação no Jardim da Reitoria da UFF pretende reforçar a idéia da impossibilidade de conter o curso dos acontecimentos.

Construída a céu aberto, e exposta a sol e chuva, a obra se transformará no decorrer do tempo.

A terra escoará entre os vergalhões, que fincados ao chão formando grades no entorno das pirâmides, não constituirão obstáculo ao aterramento. E as cadeiras se deslocarão de seu lugar inicial, o centro das pirâmides.

Na pós-globalização todos os esforços impeditivos de fechamentos e de proteção, opressão das diversidades e contaminação estão fadados ao fracasso.

Tornou-se impossível conter os movimentos de expansão.

CRACKS WHERE WALLS FLOW is an installation composed of two earth pyramids, 60 brass rebars and three wooden chairs, which belonged to the artist's paternal grandparents' house.

The installation in the Fluminense Federal University Rectory Garden intends to reinforce the idea of the impossibility to hold the course of events.

Built in the open, and exposed to sun and rain, the work will transform itself over the time.

The earth will flow between the rebars, which, stuck to the ground, forming grids around the pyramids, will not constitute an obstacle to grounding. And the chairs will move from their original place, the center of the pyramids.

In post-globalization, all efforts to prevent closings and protection, oppression of diversities and contamination are doomed to failure.

Expansion movements became impossible to hold.

Exposto ao tempo e ao clima, ao final do perído de exposição o que de fato aconteceu foi que o jardim invadiu o trabalho, a grama cresceu nas pirâmides de terra, que se tornaram mais rígidas, e nada tombou. O trabalho reafirmou sua autonomia e contrariando o que foi previsto.

Exposed to the weather and the climate, at the end of the exhibition period what actually happened was that the garden invaded the work, the grass grew over the earth pyramids, which became more rigid, and nothing fell. The work reaffirmed its autonomy and contradicted what was foreseen.
